Gary Burton was born and raised in Wyoming as the son and grandson of educators. After serving in the Air Force, Gary began his long career with the 56th Civil Engineering Squadron at Luke Air force Base. His twin ten year old sons attend Winters Well Elementary. Gary believes in a safe, well structured learning environment that will ensure the life long success of all children. |

Paul Roetto

Paul Roetto has lived in Arizona for the past twenty three years. He earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Citadel and spent ten years serving in the U.S. Navy. Paul was employed at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station for twelve years. Hiking Saddle Mountain is a favorite past time of his. Paul volunteers at our schools “fixing things”. He is truly appreciated for the way he jumps in to help our maintenance staff when needed. |

Chuck Jones

Chuck Jones was born in Oregon, is a decorated Viet Nam veteran, and a retired Police Detective after nearly thirty years with the City of Glendale. Chuck serves our community as a leader on the Tonopah Valley Community Council and a board member of the Friends of Saddle Mountain in addition to his role on this School Board. He believes in “accountability” as important to the success of SMUSD. |

Kim Meachum

Kimberly Meachum is a native Arizonan who grew up in Buckeye. She is employed by the Sate of Arizona as a nurse. Her four children attend our District’s Schools. Kim enjoys camping, deep sea fishing, and dancing along with the raising of Boxers. As a Tonopah Valley Community advocate, Kim believes passionately in the role schools must play in preparing our children for the future. |

David Masch

David Masch is a native Arizonan who grew up in the very rural west Phoenix, which is why he loves living in Tonopah. He is employed by APS at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station as a computer technician. Dave’s son and daughter both attend Saddle Mountain Schools. “I know that making the right decisions, a supporting community, and staff, SMUSD over the next five years will become a highly performing district.” |
